Personal web shop (coming)

Creating my own web shop for my sketches. This project is still in the making, but should be ready for launch before too long!

The web shop is designed in Figma and developed using Reactjs, with Sanity for content management.

CMS prototype

A CMS app that gives users the flexibility to choose from multiple templates and manage their content with ease. This project (although just a small excerpt) not only showcases my ability to create unique and effective UI designs but also highlights the importance of teamwork in achieving a great user experience.

I had the opportunity to work on an exciting project as the UI/UX designer on an in-house project. Our task was to create a new CMS app that would let users choose from various templates and manage their content independently, without needing developers.

In the beginning, I focused on designing a unique brand along with custom elements and icons for the CMS app. My goal was to make sure the user interface was both visually appealing and easy to use.

As the project moved forward, a senior UX designer joined the team. Working closely with him as the UI designer, I learned a lot from his expertise. His guidance helped me improve my designs and understand the finer points of creating a seamless user experience.

Together, we collaborated on different aspects of the CMS app, ensuring the design met user needs and expectations. The senior UX designer's insights allowed me to enhance my skills and deliver a polished, professional product.

Glasspaper Solutions is a company within the Glasspaper Group that provides software development and consulting services, specializing in forward-looking technologies such as .NET, React, Vue, and Azure, among others.

My role for this project was to create a brand new design for the company’s website as a UI/UX designer. The web design was created using Figma.

I created a Brand Guide for the company before working my way through the pages for different devices. I made sure the design was as easily understandable for the developers as possible with descriptive comments and examples of how the elements should behave.

Being a frontend developer with a strong passion for CSS and styling proved to be of great value when designing the elements for this website. I always kept in mind how to save time for the developers and which design choices might consume extra working hours.

The new design was finished within 3 weeks’ time. I did not do any development on this project.
